When he is not working alongside his dedicated team of educators, serving nearly 400 children, Dymir writes about race, sexuality and the far too often overlooked consequences of patriarchy. He is currently working on a collection of short stories chronicling the experiences of men and women whose identities pose threats to our white-supremacist and hetero-normative culture. He resides in Brooklyn with his four year old Malshi (maltese and shih-tzu) Oliver.
